Mohammad Arafat

Hi, my name is Arafat, and I became a qualified driving instructor in 2023. I used to work in the health care sector as a support worker for disabled and aged people. I enjoyed helping vulnerable people. In 2023 I trained my wife to drive. Before her test she had a couple of lessons with a qualified instructor and successfully gained her licence, with some encouragement from her instructor. I was inspired to gain my formal qualifications as I felt it was the perfect fit for me. At the beginning I did my Certificate 4 but I realised that Certificate 4 is not enough to be a professional instructor, so I took practical training for a couple of months with a DOT qualified instructor, and feel I have now become a confident instructor.

I love to meet new people, and think it's fulfilling to teach learners a life skill that they will use for the rest of their lives. I  can assist all levels of learners, whether zero driving experience, international conversions or a refresher, to build confidence. I understand that each student has different skills and temperaments, so I know how to structure and implement a plan to suit every individual.

My goal is to prepare you in the best possible way to pass your driving test, but more importantly equip you with the skills and good driving habits that will last a lifetime.

I also speak 4 different languages.
