Grant from Best West Driving School is an excellent instructor! Both my daughters learnt with him and passed their driving tests successfully. (2023 & 2025) He was calm, reassuring, and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. The girls really liked him and always felt comfortable and confident during their lessons. Highly recommend Grant for anyone looking for a great driving instructor! Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Grant is a motivated, enthusiastic, patient, and very methodical driving instructor. His methods and training was fundamental for me to feel comfortable both passing my test and feeling safe on the road.
Today I took my first solo drive after passing my test and I felt safe and confident driving on my own due to the training Grant provided.
I highly recommend him if you 1) want to learn to drive in a way that is methodical, have a framework for understanding why we do the maneuvers we do on the road, and develop a healthy mindset towards taking the test and driving on your own 2) need someone to teach you who is patient and flexible 3) are an anxious driver who needs a lot of encouragement and support.

My son Cameron and I would like to thank Grant in helping him obtain his Driver's Licence. Grant is a very patient and understanding instructor he is very clear on explaining the correct driving technique.
Unfortunately we were not able to have Grant with Cameron at his second driving test (being booked out at the time with another student on a driving test) but the admin lady did all her best to try to rearrange for Cameron to have him or another instructor. Grant was extremely helpful with Cameron on his first unsuccessful Driving Test, providing support to a very nervous driver.
Cameron was successful on his second attempt using all his skills and knowledge from Grant's tutoring from past lessons and exam.

Scarlett’s feedback is that Grant was an excellent teacher, he taught her so many practical and helpful tips to assist with parking and other skills for both the test and her future driving.
