We couldn’t recommend Mike highly enough as a manual driving instructor! He was incredibly patient, supportive and understanding with Jack, especially when his nerves got the better of him.
Mike always made Jack feel at ease and helped him build his confidence behind the wheel. His calm and encouraging approach made such a difference, and Jack genuinely enjoyed his lessons.
5 stars all round! Thank you so much, Mike, for your patience, encouragement and for helping Jack become a more confident driver. We really appreciate everything you’ve done!

I had a really great experience driving with Mike. He was incredibly patient throughout every lesson which made it much easier to stay calm and focused while learning. He would always point out mistakes clearly and make sure I understood how to correct them. This balance of patience and honest feedback really helped me improve my driving skills and build confidence behind the wheel. I’d highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a reliable and effective instructor.

Thanks Mike for your excellent professional teaching and getting Charlie to the point that he is a confident and safe manual driver. For a 17 year old who didn’t like listening to his mum, has shown that with a bit of discipline he got his license and we can’t thank you enough you are just what he needed .. highly recommend Mike.

Mike is not the type of instructor to mess around. He is very direct and straight to the point which works well with me.

Mike provided an excellent level of support and encouragement as well as practical guidance to ensure my autistic son is safe to drive independently. My son passed his manual test and now his life has changed. We are very grateful to Best West and the expert teaching of Mike. I have no reservation in recommending him. If your child needs additional support too, Mike is able to provide it.

Mike Paulin is excellent with my autistic 17 year old. Mike is patient and kind and my son has made great progress. The test is booked and Mike has made sure that everything is sorted for him. We are delighted with Best West and would recommend Mike without hesitation.

Mike started Elijah's driving journey with him back in Oct 21.
Elijah wasn't a confident driver to begin with and Mike's practical manner and knowledge was exactly what he needed. Mike instilled good, practical driving tactics that I can still see Elijah using. He even quotes Mike sometimes!
Elijah had 13 lessons all up with Mike and even though as a parent I worry about him driving alone I am confident that Mike is still in Elijah's mind, prompting him!
We 100% recommend Mike as a driving instructor. He is knowledgeable, practical, friendly, approachable, gives honest feedback and knows exactly what he's doing and you can rest assured you are being taught the best driving practices.

Your man , Mike, was at the wrong location and then tried to blame me. Sent someone else and they were 35 minutes late. Very unprofessional.
