Steve was a very helpful instructor I did most of my hours with him and passed my test first try, I felt very comfortable in the car with him at all times. and he did a great job at explaining everything and making sure I understood

Thanks Steve! Dylan passed his test on Monday at Midland DOT Centre - 1st time. 2 of my son's have had lessons through Steve, and my third one will too when he is due. I highly recommend Steve!

Nicest man I have ever met. He takes you to the hardest spots and fully prepares you for everything. I am so grateful that I had Steve as my instructor, he is so kind and explains everything very well. I just passed my test and I can proudly say that Steven was my instructor. I would 100% recommend.

He is a great man, kind, respectful and sympathetic, learned a lot about driving on the roads from him, he wasn't harsh in anyway or rude, he was patient with me every step of the way and where I made a mistake he would show me what I did wrong and show me the correct way or ways of doing it. Especially with the madness of the road and other drivers on the road who almost every time had zero patience for a learner, Steve Gough was patient with me and from that I learned to try and keep my cool because if you panic more mistakes can happen that could jeopardise the vehicle and my progression into a full drivers license. He was for me a role model, he upheld the law of the roads and for me, we were some what relatable in the sense of topics and I took comfort in being able to talk with him. At one point in the driving lessons I felt little lost/defeated, I felt like I wont be able to get my license until the day Steve Gough told me that he thinks I'm ready for the test which made my day, boosted my morale. Come the PDA test day, I had doubt in myself but Steve Gough did not, he was adamant that I was going to pass with success because in his words "I am a good driver", he did a great job at getting me to this point and I will always think good things of Steve Gough - Ethan Toki.

Steve is probably the best driving instructor i have ever had, he is very patient and understanding. Driving a manual car can be very challenging but having Steve made a world of difference. Would highly recommend.

I had a driving lesson with Steve G Gough and it was extremely helpful and essential to me passing my pda, he is well spoken aswell as extremely easily to talk to and helped me pass my test more than any other instructor I have had in the past, highly recommend best west and Steve G

Steve helped my son learn the routes to drive in Midland in readiness for his PDA. Steve is very patient, and has alot of knowledge of the PDA tests and what to practice. Best West Driving school was also very flexible in helping us book Steve last minute for the driving lesson before the second PDA. It took 2 tries, and my son passed second time. Thank you so much to Steve for his kind patience and knowledge about driving safely.

Steve Gough is "da bomb". Showed me exactly what I needed to know, needed to fix, what bad habits I had and what good habits I had.
At no time did I feel like I was actually doing the wrong thing, even when I went completely the wrong way and totally stuffed it all up. We were able to take advantage of the situation and laughed like a couple of idiots in the car.
Needless to say I passed my test with flying colours, only loosing points for inconsistencies caused by my own bad habits.

I would like to convey my thanks to Steve for his lessons. I did have a lesson with another company and was not impressed. Steve on the other hand was very professional and gave me handy hints of what to do to assist me with getting my driving licence first time. I would recommend Steve for driving lessons.

Steve G has been an excellent driving instructor for Drew and I have been very happy with the standard of lessons and the way Drew drives my car with me supervising. I can see how much trouble Steve has gone to with Drew to make sure he is a safe driver. Drew failed his test over one tiny thing he forgot. Hi Adam,

So I would say that Steve as a awesome job to get people to were they need to get too when I first got my learners permit I was as nervous about driving on the road. But Steve make me see that driving is great and now I’m not nervous at all.

Steve G, is a fantastic driving instructor. He is quite knowledgeable and very helpful. He is calm and patient and also a super friendly. Shaquille, is very comfortable in Steves presence and has become more confident on the road.
