He is a great man, kind, respectful and sympathetic, learned a lot about driving on the roads from him, he wasn't harsh in anyway or rude, he was patient with me every step of the way and where I made a mistake he would show me what I did wrong and show me the correct way or ways of doing it. Especially with the madness of the road and other drivers on the road who almost every time had zero patience for a learner, Steve Gough was patient with me and from that I learned to try and keep my cool because if you panic more mistakes can happen that could jeopardise the vehicle and my progression into a full drivers license. He was for me a role model, he upheld the law of the roads and for me, we were some what relatable in the sense of topics and I took comfort in being able to talk with him. At one point in the driving lessons I felt little lost/defeated, I felt like I wont be able to get my license until the day Steve Gough told me that he thinks I'm ready for the test which made my day, boosted my morale. Come the PDA test day, I had doubt in myself but Steve Gough did not, he was adamant that I was going to pass with success because in his words "I am a good driver", he did a great job at getting me to this point and I will always think good things of Steve Gough - Ethan Toki.

Steve helped my son learn the routes to drive in Midland in readiness for his PDA. Steve is very patient, and has alot of knowledge of the PDA tests and what to practice. Best West Driving school was also very flexible in helping us book Steve last minute for the driving lesson before the second PDA. It took 2 tries, and my son passed second time. Thank you so much to Steve for his kind patience and knowledge about driving safely.

Steve Gough is "da bomb". Showed me exactly what I needed to know, needed to fix, what bad habits I had and what good habits I had.
At no time did I feel like I was actually doing the wrong thing, even when I went completely the wrong way and totally stuffed it all up. We were able to take advantage of the situation and laughed like a couple of idiots in the car.
Needless to say I passed my test with flying colours, only loosing points for inconsistencies caused by my own bad habits.
